Ofertia and Tectronic: Divestments in the IT sector

According to the Ascri 2015 report, 2015 has seen a record number of divestments in Spain, partly due to the leading role played by international groups. In May, two Spanish funds: Finaves and Dinamia disinvested in companies in the ICT sector, giving entry to international groups.

Finaves has divested in Ofertia

Finavesthe venture capital fund of the IESE has disinvested in Ofertia in favour of Bonial International Group, which has decided to invest in Ofertia as part of its expansion strategy.

Ofertia offers on mobile devices and applications the catalogues of distributors such as Dia, El Cortes Ingles, Carrefour or Mediamark and measures the readings of each of them in exchange for a fee.

"This year the fund has taken a minority stake in the online shop Almashopping, invested in Nevemtum, the stand design company, and injected €250,000 into BidAway" says Diego Gutierrez of Abra-Invest.

Dinamia divests in Teltronic

Dynamiasells the 100% of its subsidiary 100%. Teltronic a Sepura for a price of around €24M.

Teltronic is an Aragonese company specialised in the manufacture of radio communications equipment and systems.

Dinamia has achieved a capital gain of 14.5 million euros with this sale, as it has recovered 2.4 times the investment made. The company's shareholders will benefit from this operation, as they will receive a dividend of 0.3 million, above the minimum 3 million guaranteed by the shareholders' meeting.

Sepura is a London based group that designs and develops Fixed, Mobile and Portable digital terminals for Public Safety, Transport and Industrial systems.
