Spanish investors invest in cybersecurity: Santander and Alma Mundi Innvierte Fund.

In the last week two cybersecurity companies have received funding from Spanish investors: Alma mundi ventures and Santander Innoventures. One of the beneficiary companies is a Spanish company, Enigmedia, which is active in the field of secure encryption.

Spanish venture capital invests in mobile data collection company BeMyEye

BeMyEye, the European leader in mobile crowdsourcing, closed a €6.5M funding round at the end of May to expand into the Spanish market. The round was led by venture capital is Spanish Nauta Capital, which was joined by the P101 fund and earlier investors such as 360 Capital Partners.

Doctoralia, the platform that connects patients and health professionals, leader in Spain and Latin America, has merged with its European competitor DocPlanner, to become the largest health marketplace in the world, thus achieving a presence in 25 countries and managing some 200,000 appointments per month.

UK-based Allergy therapics group completes acquisition of Spanish company Alerpharma

The €3.8m purchase of Spain's Allerpharma by UK-based Allergy Therapics was announced nine months ago and the deal has recently been completed. The sale and purchase agreement includes an additional payment of up to €2M depending on the results obtained in 2016, so the sale could reach €3.8M.
