Accenture wants to grow in cloud solutions, buys New Energy Group

After growing in mobility and Open Source, thanks to the purchase of two companies in the summer, in September Accenture bets on cloud solutions, a sector it already leads in Spain, and buys New Energy Group, a company specialised in Salesforce solutions.

Accenture acquires New Energy Group

Accenture has bought New Energy Group (New Energy Aborda in Spain), a company based in Italy and Spain, specialising in Salesforce solutions. This transaction makes Accenture a leading provider of Salesforce capabilities in Spain and Italy and strengthens the company's global presence, technology capabilities and industry expertise by doubling its business and resource capabilities.

 Through its programme Cloud FirstAccenture is a leader in technology services. end to endHe is also a specialist in technological consultancy and in the strategic definition of technological evolution in the Cloud, as well as in the implementation, management and integration of Cloud services for companies.

As part of the deal, Accenture will acquire all of New Energy's organisations, including New Energy Aborda in Spain and New Energy Salesforce Italy, as well as the Mind digital services team in the same country.

Accenture's previous purchases in the cloud sector

Accenture had previously made a commitment to Cloud solutions and had already made several acquisitions to strengthen Accenture's Cloud First programme.

In October 2015, Accenture acquired Cloud Sherpas in the United States, a leading cloud consulting and technology services company that specialises in Google, Salesforce y ServiceNow.

In January 2016, it bought  CRMWaypoint in the Netherlands, a provider of cloud services and consulting, specialising in Salesforce. In 2014, Accenture had already acquired the companies Tquila UK and ClientHouse.

In addition to Cloud solutions, Accenture is pursuing a policy of growth in different niches. In Spain, as you have already we announced in a post,  This summer Accenture has decided to bet on open source, buying Tecnilógica, and on mobility, buying Mobgen.
