Commitment to innovative companies
According to Europapressthe Regional Minister for Economy, Industry, Tourism and Employment, Máximo Buch, has assured that this year 13 million euros will be earmarked for financing entrepreneurs, through the IVACE-Financingand will support companies with entrepreneurial projects through the Entrepreneurs and Business Angels lines, Venture CapitalVenture Capital, Microcredits and Innovative RECs.
Through collaboration agreements with Universities
The announcement of the commitment of investment took place during the signing of a collaboration agreement between IVACE-Financiación and the Alicante University-Business Foundation, the Universitat Jaume I-Empresa Foundation of Castellón and the Valencia University-Business to "facilitate the funding of innovative projects of Valencian companies".
Speaking to journalists, Buch pointed out that the agreement aims for these entities to "identify entrepreneurs with the desire and enthusiasm to start a project, advise them and put them in contact with the Ivace", which will analyse these proposals and "facilitate the financing of viable projects".
The selected projects will receive between €20k and €100k and, as for the sectors targeted by this initiative, they can be from any traditional sector of the Valencian Community and can also be financed by more innovative projects.
Since 2011 the Comunitat has financed 74 entrepreneurial projects with €7.13M
Through the Financing Line for Entrepreneurs, in which the agreement is framed, the Generalitat has earmarked 7.13 million euros for finance 74 business projects from the end of 2011 to the present and 800 jobs have been created and maintained.
