Here we bring you the acquisitions most relevant in July 2021. This past month 20 acquisitions have been made in the technology sectors, according to Crunchbase data. Most of these acquisitions are related to companies in the healthcare sector, involving software products or services for medical processes and companies specializing in software.
The Catalan company Brodynt Global Services, an expert in telecommunications and IT solutions for service companies, was acquired on 8 July by Expereo. The Dutch company offers managed Internet solutions, access to cloud platforms and SD-WAN (software-defined networking). Read more
The Swedish company Vitrolife, which offers products to counter fertility problems, acquired Igemonix, a Madrid-based company that provides genetic testing services for patients and reproductive health clinics, on 8 July. The deal is worth SEK 3.6 billion (just over 350 million euros).
The Spanish private equity firm Moira Capital acquired the Murcian company on 12 July, a company specialising in surgery simulations through technologies such as augmented reality and 3D printing. The price of the acquisition was €10 million. Read more

Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (CTI), a US company offering clinical trial and consulting services, bought Dynakin, the only provider worldwide that combines model-based drug development with GLP biolab, GCP clinical trial design and execution, and product-oriented R&D in one place, on the 14th of this month. Switching sectors, Bruneau which is an online retailer of office furniture, equipment and accessories based in Barcelona was acquired on 28 July by TowerBrook Capital Partners, an English private equity firm. Bruneau was previously owned by Equistone Partners, another Private Equity specialist in the mid-market. Read more
To conclude this article of the most relevant acquisitions in July 2021, on 28 July the German open banking platform Finleap connect acquired the Spanish company MyValueSolutions. It offers specialised financial product solutions for small businesses, freelancers or individuals. Read more
As mentioned at the beginning, most of this month's acquisitions have been to companies related to the software and healthcare sectors.
