The call for applications opened yesterday, until 5 July 2013, for the SPRI Gauzatu-Industria programme, with the aim of promoting the creation and development of technology-based and/or innovative SMEs.

The aid to be granted in the form of repayable advances may amount to up to 35% of the investment eligible for support, with a maximum of 120,000 euros per job created and a limit that in no case may exceed the sum of 1,500,000 euros. "The conditions of this programme are the best for a company with a medium-term investment programme. The programme is flexible and gives you 3 years to make the committed investments. In 2012, more than 40 companies were beneficiaries.
From the analysis of last year's list of beneficiaries (2012), several companies stand out for their amount, being from a wide variety of sectors. "I would encourage companies that have financial difficulties and are considering the introduction of private investors in their shareholding to apply.
