BipiCar closes its second round worth €6.5m

Carsharing and renting are some of the different services that are revolutionising mobility in big cities. Companies such as Cabify, Uber, or Bluemove are some examples of companies operating in this sector.

Recently in the news has been the round of funding 6.5 million closed by BipiCar, with the aim of continuing its expansion plans and competing with other companies in the sector that have done the same, such as Amiovens, Cooltra and Virtuo.

Taking advantage of this situation, the following emerged BipiCara car rental smartphone application which has a multitude of very interesting advantages compared to any other leasing service.

What is BipiCar?

Already active in Madrid and Barcelona, Bipi allows you to reserve a car in 30 seconds without the need for paperwork or documents and offers numerous facilities in the return and payment process.

It has recently closed its second round of funding of 6,5M€ which will allow the expansion of the engineering team, the search for new partners and new commercial agreements.



This startup, founded in 2009, has become one of the main players in collaborative mobility and renting in Spain. In this way, it offers a 360º mobility solution through the integration of different services such as ridesharing, renting and leasing.

After closing a financing round of 5M€Amovens began its expansion into the French market, one of the most advanced in the world in the collaborative economy.


This company was created with the idea of offering a sustainable mobility service on two wheels, both to tourists and residents through rental and sharing. With a fleet of more than 14,000 scooters and an expected turnover of €42m this year, it is one of the leading companies in the motosharing sector.

Having been able to lift 10M€ last year, Cooltra is looking for new investors for a new phase of growth.


Virtuo is a French car rental startup established in more than 14 European cities and has recently landed in Spain. Focused on renting by the hour and by the minute, it manages all its services online.

In his last round he managed to lift 20M€ to strengthen its presence in Europe and continue its expansion.
