Call for projects related to the Dependency 2014 is open

fundingOn 12 June, the application period for the 2014 programme opened, a fund charged to the Ministry of Health's budget, which aims to provide financial support to business initiatives that promote and develop infrastructure projects and/or services of the System for Autonomy and Care for Dependency, and which has 15 million euros to provide financial support to the business initiatives to be financed.
 

Beneficiaries

Companies and Societies that present projects for the creation, extension and/or adaptation of infrastructures and/or services related to the development and implementation of the System for Autonomy and Care for Dependency.
New in the 2014 call for proposals, not only in the finances the investment for the construction, adaptation and rehabilitation of residential and/or day care centres but also the financing of the working capital resulting from increased activity in residential care, day or night care and tele-assistance services.

Type of aid

The 2014 fund has 2 different aid modalities: long-term credits and shareholder loans.

The long-term loans will have an amount of between €250,000 and €3,000,000 per investment project, with a repayment period of up to 5 years and an interest rate of Euribor plus a spread of between 2 or 3 points.
Participating loans shall be of the same amount as long-term loans and the interest rate shall be composed of the sum of 2 tranches: Euribor + a spread and a variable tranche linked to the company's performance.

Application requirements

An application form, a business plan and an explanatory report must be completed before 25 July 2014, which is the deadline for applications.
