The companies analysed have received between 2007 and 2015 more than $1600M of alternative financing, mainly from the venture capital isHowever, in recent years we have seen a significant growth in Seed and Angels rounds, which shows us that this is a sector in which new companies are being created and there is still a long way to go.
In 2015 investment in the sector has skyrocketed, the number of rounds has grown by 30% and the volume invested has grown from $106M to $211M.
