China's Shiji has paid €26M for the Spanish company, which operates globally, ReviewPro. The company offers Online Reputation Management (ORM) and Hotel Satisfaction Surveys (GSS) applications that allow hoteliers to gain a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses.
About ReviewPro

Reviewpro was founded in October 2008, although the marketing of its services began in September 2009. Its goal: to launch a world-leading online reputation company for hotels. ReviewPro is dedicated to analysing and segmenting the comments, photographs, videos and opinions in more than 40 languages that users post on the Internet about hotels. This information is used by hotels to provide analytics, customer intelligence and automated reports that help hotels manage their organisation in the areas of sales and marketing, online distribution, yield management and operations and quality.

ReviewPro is a leader in its sector. In fact, 90% of the hotels that have contracted online reputation monitoring services do so with ReviewPro. Seventeen of the top 25 chains in Spain are clients of the company. Furthermore, in its international expansion ReviewPro already has thousands of clients in 70 countries, being present in all 5 continents.

This growth has been possible thanks to a large investment for the development of their technology and product development, for which they have made 4 rounds of investment for a total amount of $6.68M. The latest €3M round was led by Active Venture Partners.
