The Hotels Network cierra una ronda de financiacion de 10M€

La startup española The Hotels Network (THN), especializada en software para la industria hotelera, ha cerrado una ronda de financiación de 10 millones de euros.

La operación ha sido liderada por el fondo de capital riesgo francés Elaia, inversor de empresas como Criteo o Sigfox.

Además, la ronda ha contado con la participación de los fondos españoles Seaya Ventures y Seedrocket 4Founders.

Sobre la startup

Fundada en 2015 y con sede en Barcelona, THN se ha convertido en la empresa líder en una nueva categoría de tecnología hotelera, el crecimiento del canal directo para hoteles.

Pioneros en el uso de Personalización Predictiva en la industria hotelera, la tecnología de THN aprovecha técnicas de personalización y machine learning, lo que permite a los hoteles ofrecer a sus huéspedes una experiencia online totalmente personalizada.

Ya son más de 5.000 hoteles en 96 países los que usan la plataforma de THN para hacer crecer sus reservas directas.

Esta rápida expansión demuestra la efectividad de tener un producto innovador que realmente aporta valor a los clientes. Entre sus clientes destacan marcas hoteleras líderes como One&Only, Minor Hotels y Barceló Hotel Group.

Esta es su tercera ronda en 5 años

Desde su fundación en el 2015, THN ha captado hasta la fecha casi 14 millones de euros. Ese mismo año, cerró su primera pequeña ronda de financiación de 250.000 dólares (unos 220.000 euros), en la que entró el fondo estadounidense NFX. En 2018 captó 3,7 millones de dólares en una operación liderada por Seaya Ventures con la participación de SeedRocket 4Founders.

Después del gran éxito de los primeros años, en junio  de 2020, en plena crisis del Covid-19 y con el sector turístico prácticamente parado, ha anunciado su tercera ronda de financiación, captando fondos por unos 10 millones de euros.  

Según Juanjo Rodríguez, CEO de THN, “vamos a utilizar esos recursos para construir productos únicos e innovadores, que los hoteles necesitan en este nuevo contexto, y ayudar al máximo a la recuperación de la industria”.
