Moira Capital entra en Goi comprando el 50% del operador logístico

Moira Capital Partners, la firma de inversión en capital privado especializada en inversiones directas en compañías innovadoras españolas, ha adquirido en torno al 50% de GOI, el operador logístico enfocado en el transporte, montaje e instalación de mercancías voluminosas fundado hace tres años por la emprendedora Yaiza Canosa.

Moira invertirá 17 millones de euros en GOI a través de una ampliación de capital.

GOI, un operador logístico emprendedor

Goi fue fundada en 2017 por la joven emprendedora Yaiza Canosa y ya cuenta con un equipo de 70 personas compuesto por profesionales expertos en tecnología, finanzas y logística.

Su modelo está basado en la creación de una red nacional de colaboradores en todas las fases de la cadena de valor logística y en el uso de tecnología propietaria que permite el seguimiento en tiempo real de los envíos, monitorizar la entrega y optimizar la red de rutas con el objetivo de reducir los tiempos de entrega.

GOI prevé facturar 12 millones de euros en 2020. En el último año, sus ventas fueron de 4,8 millones de euros, y entre sus clientes figuran compañías como Ikea, Amazon o Leroy Merlin.

Canosa, de 27 años, cuenta con un amplio historial de emprendimiento entre los que destaca la firma Glue, consultora especializada en tecnología y comercialización que derivó en la fundación de GlueWork, gestora de espacios de ‘co-working’ en el centro de Madrid.

“Estamos en un momento muy especial, en el que la logística es la clave de cómo consumimos y nosotros en Goi queremos ser líderes de este creciente mercado con una oferta única de servicio”, ha explicado Canosa.

Sobre la operación

La gestora entrará en GOI a través de una ampliación de capital en la que invertirá 17 millones de euros que se destinarán a financiar el ambicioso plan de la compañía, centrado en elevar sus ingresos y fortalecer el equipo.

Moira tomará el 50% de las acciones de la compañía y el otro 50% seguirá en manos de la fundadora.

Según Javier Loizaga, presidente de Moira, "creemos firmemente que GOI representa una oportunidad única de inversión, en el creciente y en transformación sector de la logística de mercancías voluminosas”.
