Promofarma es un marketplace de productos de parafarmacia. Esta joven empresa,  fundada en 2010 se ha convertido en un referente en su sector. En los últimos 3 años, Promofarma ha realizado una ronda por año. En esta última ronda, los inversores han sido los mismos que ya participaban en la empresa, lo que prueba su satisfacción en el proyecto.

Promofarma cierra su tercera ronda por un valor de €2,6M

el marketplace especializado en la venta de productos de parafarmacia a nivel nacional destinará esta nueva entrada de capital a consolidar su marca, impulsar el canal mobile, así como a ampliar su capacidad operativa para alcanzar la excelencia y una velocidad mayor en la entrega de los pedidos.

El hecho de que en la ronda hayan participado los inversores que ya participaban en la compañía es un dato clave de que estos están contentos con la compañía.

En 2015, PromoFarma facturó € 6,6 M y prevé terminar 2016 con una facturación anual que supere los €15M y una facturación mensual superior a los €2 M. La parafarmacia online espera crecer a un ritmo de dos dígitos en 2017, superando los 35 millones de euros, con el objetivo de alcanzar los €100M de facturación en los próximos tres años.

Aunque en España todavía no es posible vender productos farmacéuticos online, en otras partes del mundo, sí. Empresas como Pillpack, CoreOnGo o 1mg, son e-commerce de productos farmacéuticos online, de distintas partes del mundo, que han recibido inversión en 2016.
