Shopnet Broker is a Spanish company created in 2000 that offers technological services for the insurance sector. The company operates through two subsidiaries: Segurosbroker, to serve the end customer, and e-Correduría for the professional insurance market, as well as in Spain, Portugal and Mexico.
Incorporación Afin2 de Preventia

Segurosbroker ha incluido  en su  oferta de seguros de Decesos, el producto de Preventiva, AFIN2, permitiendo a los usuarios de la correduría, poder cotizar y contratar cualquiera de las tres modalidades que ofrecen: prima  mixta, nivelada o  natural, sin recargo por fraccionamiento y de forma  100% online.Con este producto la correduría amplía la oferta de productos que ofrece en el ramo de Decesos.

Crea SNTMex, para crece en Latinoamérica

Recientemente Shopnet broker ha abierto  en México una nueva filial , exportando  a México toda su tecnología de multitarificación  y su aplicativo de gestión MedPro, así como sus servicios de outsourcing administrativo y de contact center.

Para ello ha firmado  acuerdos con grandes empresas mexicanas de distribución, entidades  financieras, asociaciones  profesionales y grandes corredores.

Según palabras del presidente del grupo “el grado de madurez y robustez de nuestras herramientas para el mercado español, donde seguimos creciendo y recientemente hemos cerrado grandes acuerdos, nos permitía abordar una estrategia de desarrollo internacional para la que México nos pareció el mercado idóneo por su dimensión, semejanzas jurídicas con el nuestro y nivel de aseguramiento”.

Previsión de ampliación de capital

Actualmente, según esta publicado en el BOE, Shopnet tiene la intención de realizar una ampliación de capital de 4.807€.En este momento la empresa tiene un capital de 224.200€. La ampliación de capital se realizará mediante la emisión de 4.807 nuevas acciones nominativas, de la misma clase y serie que las actualmente existentes.

Entre los accionistas de Shopnet broker encontramos a BBVA, Iberdrola y FCC.

Mercado de Insurtech España

La inversión en startups del sector Insurtech está creciendo de forma considerable, superando en  los  tres  primeros  trimestres  de  2016 $1400M de inversión por parte del capital riesgo. Además las aseguradoras  tradicionales,   están  creando  sus  propios  fondos  de financiación para  invertir en estas  startups.

En España, aunque todavía no se han visto muchas operaciones en el sector, si que hemos visto aparecer  nuevos fondos con el fin de invertir en fintech como Fintech Ventures.
