Latest trends in product development
Enterprise content management platforms have been around for some time, but several new development trends are fuelling the interest and usefulness of these tools:
- The processing of unstructured content through semantic analysis, which requires sectoral expertise and favours the development of verticals.
- The management of content from different information sources.
- The connection of ECM with other platforms such as process management and customer communication management.
- The development of new information visualisation tools that make it easier for the user to manage the tool and to draw conclusions and analysis.
