The merger of Clintu and GetYourHero means the union of two of the main platforms in the sector. Both brands will continue to work independently, providing a specialised service: Clintu as a platform for home cleaning and GetYourHero for office cleaning. GetYourHero values this merger as a great opportunity to continue growing in the office cleaning sector of up to 600m2 and to benefit from the synergies derived from the similarities between the two businesses.

About GetYourHero

GetYourHero was created in 2014 by three German entrepreneurs in Barcelona and, in just eight months, managed to be present in Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Rome and Paris. Traditionally dedicated to offering home cleaning services through the Internet, Clintu will focus on offering office cleaning services with the merger.

Getyourhero has received two rounds of investment since its inception, the first of €300,000 from private investors and the second of €1.5M led by Seaya Ventures. This second round helped the company to expand its business in Southern Europe, where it wants to be the benchmark in its sector.

A few months after Seaye Ventures' investment, GetyourHero bought Helping's business in Spain. Helping is a platform for hiring cleaning services, which is based in Germany. At the time of the purchase it was undergoing a restructuring process and wanted to divest its Spanish business.

About Clintu

Clintu, also founded in 2014, is a Marketplace that offers cleaning and ironing services in private homes, always taking into account the needs of each user. Clintu has managed to multiply its business by five this last year. Based in Barcelona, they are currently available in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Zaragoza, Bilbao, Palma de Mallorca, Salamanca, Alicante and Valladolid.

Alex Espel, founder of Clintu, will lead the companies with the support of Seaya Ventures.

About the operation

This operation involves the merger of two of the most important companies in the sector, creating the largest on-demand cleaning platform in Spain. Each company will specialise in a specific market segment. Getyouhero in office cleaning and Clintu in home cleaning.

Companies will benefit from the technological and recruitment synergies between the two platforms and will be able to offer better services.

IntelFin consists of a cognitive system, which, through the application of advanced analytical technologies, facilitates the automation of investment and financing decisions in the field of non-listed companies and especially SMEs in high-growth sectors.

The information related to these companies is characterized by their lack of transparency and heterogeneity; thus, it is necessary to develop an advanced analysis which is as much predictive as prescriptive and is developed in a natural language custom, suitable to obtain greater clarity and knowledge of the investment scope.

Which areas of activity/business models will receive the most investment? Which sectors are most attractive to investors?
Which companies are going to experience the most growth in the near future? Which companies are most likely to receive investment or be acquired?
