Canada's Enghouse Systems buys Presence Technology for €15.8M

Enghouse, with the acquisition of Presence, is yet another in the wave of purchase of companies in the software technology sector with the aim of growing in the Spanish-speaking market.

Enghouse, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions, has acquired Spanish contact centre software solutions provider Presence for €15.8M.

The purchase takes Enghouse a step further in its efforts to become a global leader by expanding its presence in Spain, South Africa, Mexico, Colombia and Brazil.

Presence, for its part, says the deal will help them to offer a better service to our customers and partners, as well as to have a greater penetration in our markets.

Presence is a leading provider of multichannel contact centre software solutions with a strong presence in Spanish-speaking markets. The company's suite of products offers its more than 200 customers a flexible architecture that allows it to provide service from the customer's infrastructure, the cloud or a hybrid environment.

Presence specialises in Multichannel CEC solutions, which have received the TMC Award in Unified Communications and WebRTC Product of the Year, enabling contact centres to optimise their resources and increase efficiency in communication processes.
