Hiberus Tecnología reinforces its commitment to the so-called 'intelligent business' (business intelligence) with the purchase of the 60% from the Riojan company Bosonit.specialising in the development of analytical solutions, including what is known as 'big data', which consists of the collection and analysis of data that enables the most appropriate management of all types of businesses.

About Hiberus

Hiberus is a company from Zaragoza that until last year had three divisions: Hiberus Tecnología (outsourcing, Internet, mobility...), the Systems division (monitoring and cloud services) and the Travel line (it has a spin off with a reference partner such as Amadeus). Last year they decided to expand their business model and enter the cybersecurity and big data market. The new acquisition reinforces this division created in 2016.

Hiberus follows a growth trend in all its divisions.

About Bosonit

Bosonit  an analytical solutions company based in Logroño.  It was created in June 2015 by Miguel Fernández Morales. Its main clients are financial institutions, although it also offers solutions for clients in the wine sector, working for major wineries, and has been a supplier to Viajes El Corte Inglés.

Purchase characteristics

Bosonit will join the newly created business intelligence division of Hiberus and will be led by Fernández Morales, founder of Bosonit.

This operation will strengthen the business intelligence division of Hiberus, which currently has 20 employees. In addition to the 16 Bosonit employees who will join the division, 4 more people are expected to join.

This operation is also an opportunity for Hiberus to grow in Northern Europe. The company is currently a benchmark in the Spanish market and is immersed in the process of expanding into the Latin American market.

For Bosonit, it will mean expanding its activity in three areas: data visualisation, big data and machine learning.
