En Europa, el sector TIC domina la financiación de la innovación

Según un informe elaborado por Clipperton Finance, el sector TIC domina, con dos tercios del volumen total de inversión, en el primer trimestre del 2013. Dentro de IT, Internet orientado a consumidores es el segmento número 1 en Europa.
La financiación de las empresas innovadoras siguen impulsadas por las inversiones en IT.  Las transacciones por internet orientado a  los consumidores es el principal destino de inversión en Europa con más de 40% de la Valor de la financiación europea en los últimos 6 meses Mientras que el negocio de "BUsiness Internet" (cloud y Software Empresarial) segundo.

Comparativa con la inversión en USA

Este equilibrio, que se inclina hacia las "startups" orientadas al concumidor, es particular a  Europa frente a los EE.UU., donde el negocio de Internet empresas (software Entreprise, cloud, etc) es el que capta la atención de los inversores.

"Cabe destacar que el famoso fondo VC norteamericano Sequoia Capital ha invertido  $ 11,5 millones en la empresa holandesa Pyramid Analytics (plataforma de "business inteleigence" Según nos cuenta Diego Gutierrez de la empresa especializada en financiación alternativa de pymes ABRA INVEST.

Análisis según el tamaño de las operaciones

En cuanto al tamaño de las operaciones, el segmento de ,las startups de  "hardware y telecomunicaciones" disfruta de la mayor mediana con US $ 3,3 millones por año - el doble de tanto como "Internet y Nuevos Medios". El valor de transacción más bajo es  para el segmento de Internet orientado a consumidores (US $ 1,7 millones) que no sorprende mucho teniendo en cuenta que este segmento atrae a la mayoría de las rondas en fase semilla. También vale la pena mencionar es la bajada decepcionante de las inversiones de "tecnología limpia "en Europa, que en conjunto, ha supuesto solo un  7% de las inversiones totales hecho en los últimos 6 meses.

"En España, durante el año 2012 también ha sido el sector TIC, quien ha liderado la inversión suponiendo el 44% del total de las inversiones. La inversión total de Venture Capital(VC),  ascendió a 230,6 millones de euros en un total de 1.063 operaciones en 2012. Pero lo más sorprendente del análisis de la comparativa es el  importe medio por operación fue de 456.000 euros", nos comenta Diego Gutierrez (ABRA INVEST).
