De un estudio realizado por Pitchbook sobre 67 fondos dedicados al sector La mediana de TIR ha sido del 10,02% desde al año 2007 hasta la actualidad. Los mejores fondos situados en el primer quartil (25% mejores) han obtenido un 12,15% de rentabilidad.

Con más de 32 años de andadura, CICcap tiene división de prívate equity y de venture capital. En la división de PE, invierten en empresas con una facturación entre 10 y 75 MM$, con un EBITDA de 2MM$ mínimo en un tamaño de transacción entre 10 y 70 MM$. Suelen exigir control mediante mayoría. Operación más reciente: Frazier Healthcare ha acordado la adquisición de AndersonBrecon

Frazier Healthcare ha acordado la adquisición de AndersonBrecon, el negocio de envasado de productos farmacéuticos de AmerisourceBergen (NYSE: ABC), por US $ 308 millones en efectivo. Greenspring Asociates, QIC Private Equity Global y Thomas, McNerney & Partners se están uniendo a Frazier en la adquisición. Con sede en Illinois, AndersonBrecon ofrece servicios de empaquetado para varios mercados finales en el espacio de la salud, incluyendo la salud del consumidor, productos biológicos, genéricos, OTC, la sanidad animal y los proveedores de dispositivos médicos. Frazier, que está utilizando su Healthcare Fund VI para la adquisición,  fusionará AndersonBrecon con Packaging Coordinators empresa de su cartera, un proveedor de envasado de productos farmacéuticos y la biotecnología, para ofrecer servicios especializados de embalaje en una escala global.
