La consultora ha comprado Pragsis Bidoop, una compañía española especializada en el ámbito de la Inteligencia artificial y el Big Data, con sede en Madrid y oficinas en Barcelona y Reino Unido.

Con esta adquisición, Accenture se refuerza en este ámbito con talento español, y Pragsis Bidoop, por su parte, se integra en el área de Applied Intelligence de la compañía, aportando más de 200 profesionales especializados en machine learning, inteligencia artificial y big data, así como también su cartera de soluciones end-to-end.

Así pues, esta incorporación contribuye a mejorar aún más la forma en la que el área de Applied Intelligence de Accenture da servicio a sus clientes en Europa y América Latina, además de ayudar a las compañías a escalar, a nivel corporativo, la Inteligencia Artificial, Analytics y automatización para tomar decisiones basadas en datos.

Fundada en 2004, Pragsis Bidoop ostenta una posición relevante en el mercado español de Big Data, Inteligencia Artificial y Machine Learning.

Cuenta con un amplio portfolio de clientes, entre los que destacan numerosas compañías del Ibex-35 así como multinacionales con presencia en México, Brasil y otros mercados de América Latina. Está especializada en la provisión de servicios para corporaciones de muy diversas industrias, desde banca y seguros hasta retail, energía, ferrocarriles, sector público y farmacéutico.

Además, ofrece soluciones innovadoras en el área de los datos para el sector que la compañía denomina Industria X.0, la reinvención digital de la industria. Estos servicios incluyen, entre otros, Big Data y soluciones de Inteligencia Artificial para gemelos digitales, aprendizaje automático para optimizar los procesos de fabricación y modelos predictivos avanzados para reducir, por ejemplo, errores de pronóstico de la cadena de suministro, pérdida de ventas y costes de mantenimiento.

En 2016, la consultora estadounidense adquirió Tecnilógica, una compañía experta en el desarrollo de aplicaciones de código abierto, y en 2012 se hizo con Neo Metrics Analytics, una firma especializada en optimización y analítica predictiva.
